Descripción The National Research Council (CNR) is the largest public research institution in Italy. CNR’s mission is to perform research in its own Institutes, to promote innovation and competitiveness of the national industrial system, to promote the internationalization of the national research system, to provide technologies and solutions to emerging public and private needs, to advice Government and other public bodies, and to contribute to the qualification of human resources.
The CNR's  Research Valorization and Technology Transfer Office (CNR TTO) has the specific mission to coordinate the CNR in the technology transfer processes (i.e. intellectual property rights protection management; Promotion and support for setting up of new technological enterprises -Spin-off; promotion and exploitation of research results; etc...).
As partner of Enterprise Europe Network (http://een.ec.europa.eu/), CNR supports SMEs and researchers to innovate and grow internationally. It provides international business expertise with local knowledge across a range of targeted services: Partnership; Advisory; Innovation support.
